"Just do it" was a popular slogan coined by the well-known and highly successful sports brand Nike back in the 1990's. The slogan was and still is used by many to get the job done whatever it takes. However, for some it is not always as simple as the statement might imply. Other internal factors stand in the way.
One factor that can strike any one at any time is lack of or loss of self-confidence or courage. Courage can be defined in many ways depending on who is attempting to define the word. One might give a text book definition, a philosophical or spiritual definition, or one may define the word based on having seen or heard about it in action.
But however it is defined courage is needed in some measure by all at some point during our daily lives. Whether its as basic as arising every morning to face a new day or as challenging as overcoming whatever fear that may be standing in the way of accomplishing a task, goal, or dream.
Building self-confidence is a good foundation towards developing courage. Building self-confidence can be hard work and requires perseverance: but, with patience it can and will be obtained in some measure by anyone that attempts to seek after it.
