Love is many things to many people and can be defined in many ways by most of us. But unfortunately, it has been said by too many "I don't know what love is". They have not known love in any significant way as to be able to give it a positive definition. The pain, hurt, trials and tribulations of life that comes in some measure to us all at one time or another has befallen some in such great measure that they are unable to feel or give any authentic meaning to the word love.
Defining love may be sometimes difficult for some but it can and should be put into practice by all.
When it is all said and done it is written that there are three things that last, faith, hope, love and
the greatest of these is love.
But how does one make love last? The answer can be found in the enduring definition of love found in the words below. It is a good definition to reflect on and one that we can and should all strive to put into practice in our daily living.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (New Living Translation)

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged. It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
