Did you know 'gratitude can change things'?  Yes, gratitude has been discovered by many to have amazing power.  It can shift your daily focus.  November has been designated as
"National Gratitude Month" as well as the month of  "Thanksgiving".  And that gives each of us 30 days to not only say 'Thank You" but to practice trying to have an attitude of  gratitude that can allow us to focus each day on the positive that is actually happening in our daily lives.

We are approaching the half-way point of fall, that is Autumn, the season of change.  The signs are all around us including the change in Mother Nature's color palette.   The fresh, renewing colors of green have been replaced with the burst of bright yellow, red, and orange energy.  Just as there are signs that the season is changing, gratitude can be a sign that we too are changing too.

When we focus on being grateful we enter a process of change.  Gratitude changes our focus, it changes our mindset, gratitude changes our life.  When we become thankful for the things we have, however small or meager, our thankfulness changes a negative into a positive.  And being and staying positive is one of the first steps to inner growth and life improvement we all desire.

Below are some thank you gratitude  affirmations to help motivate, inspire, and lift your spirit to help make your world and space in it a better place.

NOVEMBER -MONTH OFTHANKSGIVING

November is the month where we set aside an official day to give thanks. On the last Thursday of the month most families, friends, acquaintances, people known to us and sometimes unknown, come together to share a meal and give thanks. For most of us it has become a tradition to take a few moments to "give thanks".

To give thanks is having an attitude of gratitude.  Giving thanks is one of the best ways to show gratitude for what we have and/or what we are about to receive.  Oprah Winfrey has stated: "Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough." This same principle holds true for giving. “Give and it will be given to you in good measure, pressed down and overflowing, they shall cast into your lap. For with what measure you measure it will be measured to you.” (Aramaic Bible in Plain English (©2010)).

Saying "thank you" for all the good one receives, however small it may seem, (and sometimes not so good can prove to be something to be thankful for) is a simple and easy act to perform, as well as a good and rewarding act to do. Its all about attitude.  And the evidence of this can be seen in the above statements.
So don't wait for the 4th Thursday of November (Thanksgiving Day) to say thank you. Say "Thank You" today and everyday.
