The movement has begun with the celebration of "Global Love Day" which took place on May 1, 2014 and although The Love Foundation's annual Global Love Day for 2014 has passed the celebration of "unconditional love" has not. 

Love, and especially "unconditional" love is not just for one day. 
Global Love Day will again be celebrated next May 1, 2015, but up until that time we have many good days ahead to make an attempt
at the practice of giving, as well as receiving 'unconditional love'
