Fall is officially here and many are officially celebrating October as Positive Attitude Month. As many know and experience on a daily basis, having a positive attitude can be hard work. And the idea of establishing one month out of the year to officially celebrate the concept is a good idea.
Its a time to know you're not alone, there are many others trying, maybe struggling to have a positive attitude. In the midst of whatever maybe your particular difficulty,having a period set aside where we are reminded to actually focus on having a positive attitude is a help to ourselves and others around us who may not be trying as hard as we are to have a positive attitude but can be influenced by our efforts.
So, although the month of October is quickly passing, there is still plenty of time to concentrate on and practice having a good positive attitude. Sometimes it's not enough to say "be happy". We need that extra push to jump-start the positive thinking that leads to a positive attitude.
